About The Author

Roger Thomas Bazile is a spiritually reflective author whose work invites readers into moments of stillness, healing, and quiet restoration. His writing blends gentle honesty with emotional depth, creating a calm space in a world that often moves too fast.
Roger’s journey as a writer began under a pen name, during a season when he wasn’t yet ready to place his real identity beside such vulnerable work. Over time, his voice grew stronger, steadier, and more grounded. Today, he writes openly under his own name, embracing the fullness of his story and the readers who connect with it.
He is the author of three spiritually centered works:
-
The Art of Still Places
-
A Cookbook for the Soul
-
Whispers of Serenity
Across all his books, Roger’s mission remains the same: to help people slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover the quiet strength within themselves.
He writes for the weary, the searching, the hopeful, and the ones learning to listen to the soft places inside their own lives. His work is an invitation — not to escape life, but to meet it with a quieter heart.
My Story
I was born in Louisiana, during a time when my father was serving overseas and my mother had traveled from California to be with family. Not long after I was born, she returned to California, and from there my siblings and I were raised in different places across the United States as part of a military family.
Growing up in constant movement taught me early what transition feels like — the quiet search for belonging, the way stillness becomes something you carry inside rather than something tied to a single location. Those experiences shaped the way I see the world and the way I write. I learned that peace isn’t found in a place, but in the moments when you slow down enough to hear your own spirit again.
My writing journey began under a pen name during a season when I wasn’t ready to attach my real identity to such vulnerable work. Over time, my voice grew steadier and more grounded. Eventually, I stepped into my own name — not as a performance, but as acceptance of who I had become.
Today, I write for people who are tired, searching, hopeful, or quietly carrying more than they say out loud. My work is an invitation to breathe, to rest, and to rediscover the quiet strength that has always been within you.
